Aubrey Bradford “Bill” Tasker, 91, of Paxinos, PA, passed away peacefully.

Aubrey Bradford “Bill” Tasker, 91, of Paxinos, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. He was born August 1, 1931, in Mount Carmel PA, the son of the late William Bradford and Mary Stelma Tasker

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 66 years, Dorothy Mae Tasker on January 21, 2021. They were married on April 5, 1954.

Bill was employed as an auto body specialist and mechanic for Hall’s Motor Freight and Branch Motor Company. He was also employed in Maintenance at Penn Lutheran Village in Selinsgrove PA, from where he retired.

He was a member of St. Michael’s Russian Orthodox Church in Mount Carmel, PA his other memberships included Masonic Lodge#22 in Sunbury, PA, Tall Cedars of Lebanon Masonic Lodge was a 32nd Mason at the Williamsport Lodge.

His greatest passion was tinkering and working on cars as well as painting them. He will be remembered as a kind, giving person; always willing to help others. His family was the foundation of his life, and he will be dearly missed by them all.

He is survived by two sons: Aubrey B. Tasker, Jr. of Paxinos, PA and David M. Tasker and his wife Michelle of Elysburg, PA and one daughter, Dorothy Mae “Dottie” Snyder and her husband John of Paxinos, PA. Also surviving are six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Oliver Tasker and one sister, Grace Spangler.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held Wednesday, April 25, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Michael’s Orthodox Church 131 N. Willow Street Mount Carmel PA with the Reverend Vjekoslav Jovicic as Celebrant. Friends will be received Tuesday evening, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 42 West Mahoning Street Danville PA. Burial will be held in the St. Michael’s Orthodox Church Cemetery in Mount Carmel PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
