DANVILLE, PA ~ Dale A. Keller, 89, formerly of Danville, PA went home to be with her Lord on November 4, 2022, at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA. She was born on November 24, 1932, in San Francisco, CA the daughter of the late W. Kenneth and Irene McManus.
Mrs. Keller R.N.C., B.S. was a graduate of Columbus Hospital School of Nursing and the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington. For more than 20 years she provided services as a Public Health Nurse and Supervisor of Public Health in Columbia, Montour and Northumberland Counties with the Pennsylvania Department of Health. She served on many Human Service Boards in all three counties i.e., Children and Youth, Drug and Alcohol, Danville Child Development and Head Start. She was also a member of the American Nurses Association, Pennsylvania Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau (honorary nurse’s society) and the Christ Wesleyan Church in Milton, PA.
Dale is survived by two sons: Karl M. Keller and his wife Dianne of Pittsburgh, PA and Mark A. Keller and his wife Catherine of Delaware, Ohio and one daughter, Laura L. Kweder and her husband Daniel of Erie, PA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Matthew, Elizabeth, Nolan, Joel, Valerie, Meredith, Paige and one great-grandson, Coleson. She is also survived by her brother-in-law James B. Keller and his wife Beverly of Williamsport, PA and their two children Jean Mock and James Keller. Additional survivors include nieces Heidi Hoffman, Kristin Hoffman-Graham, Dianna McCormick-Sayles, and nephew Kurtis Hoffman.
Mrs. Keller was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William M. Keller and her sister Mildred McCormick.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Celebration of Dale’s life to be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Christ Wesleyan Church Davis Chapel, 363 Stamm Road West Milton, PA. Friends will be received from 9:30 until 10:15 AM.
All are invited to attend a luncheon immediately following the service, at the Bull Run Tap House 605 Market Street Lewisburg, PA 17837.
The burial at Fairview Cemetery, Dushore, PA will be private at the convenience of the family. The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Wesleyan Church 373 Stamm Road West Milton, PA 17847
