David Wayne Houser, 51, of Danville PA passed away with family by his side, Friday, August 13, 2021. He was born April 17, 1970, in Muncy, PA; the son of Donald and Joyce Houser.
Dave graduated from Montgomery High School in 1988 and earned an associate degree in Forestry in 1990.
He was married to his devoted wife for 24 years, Lisa Morgan Houser. They were married on July 5, 1997.
Dave was employed as a paraprofessional with the Danville Area School District for thirteen years.
He grew up attending White Deer Baptist Church, Allenwood, PA and is a current member of First Baptist Church, Danville, PA.
As a member of the Boy Scout’s, Dave earned the highest honor of Eagle Scout.
He enjoyed family game night, hunting with his son, trivia with his daughter and fishing. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter; Samantha Renee and his son; Douglas Wayne, both of Danville, PA. Also surviving are his brothers; Robert Houser and his wife Cassondra of Texarkana, Texas and Michael Houser and his spouse, Rick of Tunkhannock, PA. Dave is also survived by his wife’s parents; Rick and Sharon Morgan of Watsontown; his brother-in-law, Brian Morgan and his wife Tammy of Watsontown, PA and his nephews; Brett Morgan and Taylor Morgan.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of David’s Life on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 2:30pm at First Baptist Church, 12 Brookside Drive, Danville, PA 17821 with the Reverend Dawes Dunham officiating. Friends will be received from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM.
The family will provide flowers. Memorial Contributions in Dave’s memory may be made to, White Deer Valley Baptist Church; 572 White Deer Baptist Church Road, Allenwood, PA 17810.
