Eliza Brittain Hahn 80, of Danville, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Danville. She was born January 4, 1942, in Danville PA the daughter of the late Robert C. and Mary Jane McWilliams Brittain.
She graduated from Danville Area High School in 1959 and attended Wyoming Seminary and Rider College. She was employed in the Business Department at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville PA.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Oscar Hahn, on April 24, 2007.
Eliza was a member of Grove Presbyterian Church. She served on the Board of Directors at the Danville Child Development Center for 10 years.
Eliza will be remembered by her family as a dedicated homemaker throughout her life. She enjoyed spending summers at the family beach house in Ocean City NJ and faithfully attended all of her sons’ sporting events in High School and College.
She is survived by two sons: Robert T. Hahn and his wife Staci of Orange City FL and Richard A. Hahn and his fiancé Amy Williams of Danville. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Thomas, Kaelyn and Adelyn Hahn. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Brittain and one niece, Robin, one nephew, Richard, one great-nephew and several great-nieces.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Brittain in 1996.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Eliza’s Life to be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Grove Presbyterian Church 358 Bloom Street Danville PA with her pastor, the Reverend Jason Clapper officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Grove Presbyterian Church or Danville Child Development Center
