George Bruce Remick, 73 passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at his residence.

DANVILLE, PA ~ George Bruce Remick, 73, of Danville, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at his residence in Danville, PA. He was born August 16, 1949, in Danville PA the son of the late Harry Glen and Mabel Lucille Swank Remick.
He attended Danville High School. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was married to his wife, Ellen Reedy Remick for 50 years. They were married August 12, 1972.
George was employed by Conagra Foods in Milton PA for 38 years from where he retired.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 40, Continental Fire Company, East End Fire Company, Friendship Fire Company, Danville VFW, and the Danville Moose.
He will be remembered as an avid fisherman and hunter.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters; Janine Remick of Bloomsburg PA and Christy Remick Smith and her husband Fred of North Pole, Alaska and one daughter-in-law Karen Remick of Wyoming. Also surviving is one brother, Gerald, and his wife Mary Ann of Scotrun PA and three sisters: Joan Pursel of Berwick PA, Doris Young of Bloomsburg PA and Mildred Thomas (Marion) of Bloomsburg PA.
He was preceded in death by the untimely death of his son, George B. Remick, Jr. on October 7, 2022; one brother Harry Remick, Jr. and one sister, Donna Boyer.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 40 Honor Guard and the United States Army Honor Guard.
