Judith Hunsinger Dunn, 67, of Danville, PA passed away on December 31, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. She was born July 24, 1954, in Bloomsburg PA, the daughter of the late Jacklynn Hunsinger who passed away in 2008.
Judy graduated from Danville High School in 1972.
Judy was employed as a psychiatric aide at Danville State Hospital for 32 years, retiring in 2006.
She was a member of Shiloh United Church of Christ where she loved to volunteer wherever she could. Judy also enjoyed planning her high school reunion with her classmates. Judy had a passion for cooking and sharing recipes. She particularly enjoyed fireworks in the summertime.
Judy touched so many lives with her sweet, caring, and thoughtful presence. She will be remembered for her selfless soul who accepted anyone just as they were with unconditional love. She had a deep devotion for her only daughter Michelle, whom she adored. Judy is survived by her daughter, Michelle L. Dunn of Danville PA; one sister, Chris Ramos and two brothers; Chad Headley and Sterling “Mark” Headley. Also surviving is one uncle; Jerry Hunsinger of Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Fairview Cemetery, State Hospital Drive and Wall Street Danville PA with the Reverend Mary B. Schmotzer officiating.
Flowers will be provided by the family.
