Mary A. Cromis, 84, of Danville, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at her residence. She was born May 15, 1937, in Washingtonville, PA, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Erma Billmyer Roberts.
Mary graduated from Danville Area High School.
She was employed at Geisinger Medical Center for 38 years.
Mary was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Washingtonville Volunteer Fire Company where she was a volunteer and secretary for many years.
She enjoyed baking, water aerobics, mowing her lawn and plowing snow. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by one son; Thomas Cromis and his wife Debra and one daughter; Debra Ayers and her husband Rich both of Danville. She is also survived by two grandchildren: Jeramy Cromis and his fiancé Alecia Snyder of Danville and Miranda Kulesza and her husband Tim of Virginia as well as three great-grandchildren; Kiera, Addalyn, and Brynlee. Mary is also survived by two brothers: Larry Roberts and his wife Kay of Danville and Gary Roberts of Washingtonville and one sister Sandy Roberts of Danville.
She was preceded in death by one sister: Shirley Reigle.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Mary’s Life on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 1:00pm-4:00pm at Washingtonville Volunteer Fire Company, 121 Strawberry Ridge Road, Danville, PA 17821.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Washingtonville Volunteer Fire Company.
