Philip K. Bond, 83, of Danville, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, October 29, 2021.


DANVILLE, PA ~ Philip K. Bond, 83, of Danville, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, October 29, 2021, at his residence. He was born July 10, 1938, in Baltimore Maryland the son of the late Robert W. and Eloise Peregory Bond
He served his country in the United States Marines.
He was employed as a Branch Manager for the Pepsi-Cola Company for many years, retiring in 2003.
Philip enjoyed golfing, attending the “Old Man Lunch” with his friends, and tinkering in the garage. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren whom he adored and will be greatly missed by his pet companion, Mocha. He will be lovingly remembered by many as the “Pepsi Guy” and for his friendliness and kindness.
He is survived by two sons: Jeffrey A. Swartz and his wife Liz of Danville PA and Philip Bond, Jr. of North Carolina and one daughter, Sharon Miller of North Carolina. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Tyler and Mason Swartz of Danville PA and Sara Hoskins of North Carolina. Also surviving is one sister, Nicki Broughton and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Terry Bond and one brother, Robert Bond.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Philip’s Life on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 42 West Mahoning Street Danville PA with the Pastor Marjorie Fisk officiating. Friends will be received from 9:30 until 10:45 AM. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Military Rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 40 Honor Guard and the United States Marine Honor Guard.
The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Danville American Legion Post 40 175 Northumberland Street Danville PA 17821.
