Ronald W. Booth of Liberty Valley Road, Danville passed away peacefully November 1st. at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Ron was born January 8, 1950, in Pittston, a son of the late Hiram Dennis and Ruth Parsons Booth. On October 4, 2011, he married the former Linda Lee Martin Worbel.
He was employed as a truck driver for Weis Markets for many years retiring in 2016. He served his country in the U. S. Army from 1969 to 1971.
Ron was a member of Northumberland Fire Co. #1, Norry Hook & Ladder, East Sunbury Hose Co. #1 and Susquehanna Motorcycle Club, Milton.
Ron enjoyed camping, exploring new places to dine, working on projects around the house and especially riding his motorcycle. He lived his dream of attending the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota in 2018.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a brother, David of Florida, daughter Michelle and son- in law Geno Consenza of Pittston, a granddaughter Cassandra and three stepsons: Matthew Fry of Florida, Shawn Williams of Ashland, and Matthew Worbel at home.
Ron will be sadly missed by his many friends and family of pet cats, Emmy, Libby, and Lexi.
