DANVILLE, PA ~ Rosemary Kinn, 77, of Danville, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Emmanuel Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Danville, PA. She was born November 2, 1945, in Waynesburg, PA. the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Imrich.
She graduated from Mapletown High School in 1963 and furthered her education at Morgantown Business School in 1965.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John B. Kinn of Danville. They were married January 21, 1967.
Rose Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Danville PA.
Rosemary was employed in many positions during her career. She was an administrative assistant at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington DC and worked as a medical stenographer at Geisinger Medical Center. Prior to returning to Danville PA in 1987, she was office manager for the Inter-county Orthopedic Associates in Bridgeton NJ. From 1987 – 2008, she was employed by Counseling and Care for Children and Youth in Danville PA and Family Care for Children and Youth in Lewisburg PA and Montandon PA as an administrative assistant.
She enjoyed sailing, traveling, needle crafting, reading, music, flowers and plants as well as her dogs and cats. She was especially fond of her close friends from the Danville Area Community Center. She will be remembered by her outgoing and warm personality. The love of her family and friends was ever present. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Sean Kinn and his wife Rebecca and two grandsons: John and Henry.
A private family funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
