Samantha J. Davis, 32, of Danville, PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 9, 2022.
DANVILLIE, PA ~ Samantha J. Davis, 32, of Danville, PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 9, 2022. She was born September 24, 1989, in Danville PA, the daughter of the late Daymon Scott Davis and Denise E. Olson Davis of Danville PA, who survives.
Samantha graduated from Danville Area High School in 2009 and she was employed by Bason’s Coffee of Danville PA.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Danville where she served faithfully as a Deaconess, in the nursery on Wednesday nights and Vacation Bible School. Samantha loved to sing and enjoyed singing with the Praise Team.
Samantha enjoyed babysitting. She was especially fond of her dogs, Han and Bear and her cat, Calli. She was an amazing and compassionate young woman and will always be remembered for her smile and for the love she had for her father.
In addition to her mother, she is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Donald and Helen Olson of Orangeville PA and her paternal grandmother, June E. Fisher Davis of Danville PA. Also surviving are her uncles; Donald Olson, Jr. of Danville, Dale Olson of Orangeville PA and Kenneth F. Davis and his wife, Teresa of South Carolina and one aunt, Victoria Krauter, and her husband Pete of Milton PA. She is also survived by her cousins; Clive Bell and his wife Heather of Danville PA, Sandy McVay and her husband Neil, Jacob Davis, Lauren Davis as well as Shawna Sanders, Brad Olson, Colton, Alyssa and Taylor Bell and Brianna and Trey McVay.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Kenneth F. Davis.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Samantha’s Life to be held
Monday, July 18, 2022, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church 12 Brookside Drive (off 642 E) Danville PA with her pastor, the Reverend Dawes J. Dunham officiating.
Friends will be received from 9:30 – 10:45 AM. Burial will be held in the Odd Fellows Columbarium, Danville, PA.
