LEWISBURG - Vicki Lynn Smith, 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg PA.

Vicki Lynn Smith, 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg PA. She was born June 15, 1957, in Lewisburg PA, the daughter of the late Marvin L. and Mary Kathryn Benner Smith. She graduated from Mifflinburg High School in 1975.
Vicki was employed by Bowen Agency in Selinsgrove PA as a real estate agent and in previous years was a weighmaster for the former Faylor Middlecreek Quarry in Elizabethville PA.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Dalmatia PA, a former member of the American Businesswomen’s Association of Sunbury PA and Order of the Eastern Star in Sunbury PA.
Vicki will be remembered for her strength and determination and love for her family. Vicki enjoyed drawing, crafting and decorating. She was an avid flower gardener and had a great passion for cooking and baking for others. Vicki was well known for her outgoing personality, laugh and especially her smile. Her kindness and generosity to her friends was significant. She leaves behind family and friends who are both immensely thankful for her presence in their lives.
She is survived by two daughters: Jennifer S. Gurski and her husband Michael of Danville PA and Amber N. Shultz and her husband Jonathon of York PA. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Sage Elizabeth Gurski and Hunter Michael Gurski; both of Danville PA and Chase Alan Shultz and Reese Ann Shultz; both of York PA. She is also survived by her stepmother, Linda Walter of Mifflinburg PA.
Vicki was preceded in death by one brother, Scott L. Smith.
A Celebration of Vicki’s Life will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 3:00 PM at the Emmanuel United Church of Christ 326 Market Street New Berlin PA with Pastor Alice Rauch officiating. Friends will be received from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM at the church. Burial will follow in the Mifflinburg Cemetery in Mifflinburg PA. A celebration meal will be provided for family and friends following the ceremony. Memorial Contributions may be made out to the Danville Riverside Foodbank and mailed to 512 Bloom Street Danville PA 17821.
